RA Problems

You're an RA (Resident Assistant, Advisor, etc.) and you got problems. Tell us about it.

Also, please keep in mind this is a side project. Don't take the content too seriously, and don't compare it to other problems sites with the same standards.

Be sure to ask/submit to this blog!

A Fellow RA just asked me

If the most recent posts are in someway being influenced by the current events at my RA job, and I can assure you that that is not the case. I knew this was going to be a question that I would have to answer, and the answer is no.

These memes are created over a month ago and put on a queque afterwards; however, after posting about 30 queques, I decided to stop at problem 100 and ended up only uploading about 3 memes this time - if this makes sense.

I chose this method of uploading because of precisely this reason (but it backfired): to avoid putting anything bad or stupid about a fellow RA, who could potentially be following this blog. I don’t do attacks online - and it certainly wouldn’t be on a meme. But it would be witty.

As an RA, especially in a big staff, I know that communication is very key to our success as a team. I would not jeopardize my relationship with a fellow RA no matter how much I hate them or they hate me (at the moment) just to get notes on a meme. And this isn’t a case of libel either!

Yes. I could have deleted the memes, but I never screen them for appropriateness (after I save the .png, I figured it should be all good), and I am not about to now - it’s too much work for me.

But if these posts do offend anyone, particularly on my staff, I apologize. I think I’ve shown every person on my staff that I don’t like drama (but sometimes, I admit that I’m in the mix - sometimes as a result of my inquisitive nature, chance, etc.),but when there is drama, I try to resolve it as quickly as possible. I don’t think I do any more drama-generating activity than any other RA on my staff; I might be a bit more vocal though.

Anyway, I’m done!

With Love,
